Plano Civic Chorus Endowment Fund |
The Plano Civic Chorus is funded each year by dues, ticket sales, grants, individual and corporate contributions, and performance fees. In 2009 we established the Plano Civic Chorus Endowment Fund. Contributions will be managed separately and the PCC Endowment Fund committee will make recommendations as to how and when the earned income will be spent or reinvested. It is our goal that this fund will help secure our financial stability for years to come. You now have the opportunity to make a tax-deductible contribution to the PCC Endowment Fund. Please send contributions to: Plano Civic Chorus, PO Box 864411, Plano, Texas 75086-4411 with “Endowment Fund” in the memo. If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or call 972-606-5220. |
Merritt Felmly Memorial Scholarship Fund |
Plano Civic Chorus is pleased to announce the establishment of a permanent scholarship in memory of Merritt Felmly. Merritt was an inspiring member of the chorus. He was a lifelong singer whose life exemplified the love of choral music and service to others. Merritt used his talent of singing to enrich and bless all who knew him. Merritt was well loved and loved well. When Merritt was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer he requested that upon his death donations in his honor be made to Plano Civic Chorus. These funds were used to establish a scholarship fund set up in perpetuity and to be named: THE MERRITT FELMLY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP.
Of the two $500 scholarships given each year one will be awarded to a high school senior and the other will be awarded to a college level junior, senior, or graduate student. |
