Plano Civic Chorus is seeking experienced singers to audition for the 2026-27 season. Auditions will be held August 1st and 3rd. Read the audition for details below for audition procedures and to schedule an audition.

AUDITION DETAILS
Auditions will be held in the music wing at Christ United Methodist Church, 3101 Coit Rd in Plano. Entry is on the north side of the building facing Parker Rd. The audition will consist of an excerpt from Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass. Piano will begin at measure 50, singers start at 54 and continue through measure 80. Sheet music and audio file for this excerpt are located at this link. The audition will also include vocalization and sight-reading. Applicants must complete the registration process at planocivicchorus.choirgenius.com to be able to sign up for an audition slot. For more information on how to register, please click here. Singers must be 18 years or older to be eligible for membership. NOTE: Dues for Plano Civic Chorus are $180 for the the season, payable once you have been selected. Payment plans and scholarships are available based on need. |
PLANO CIVIC CHORUS REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE OBLIGATIONS
PCC rehearses on Monday Evenings from 7-8:30pm in the choir room at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano. PERFORMANCE DATES 2026-27 season will include three regular season concerts and two special performances with the PSO and RSO. All singers are expected to sing in all rehearsals and performances. Special circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
