Summer Women’s Chorus (SWC) is a non-auditioned summer women's choir which began in 2019.  Formed by Artistic Director Mandie McMurdie in 2019, the chorus was started as a way for women to keep singing through the summer. The chorus was met with great success and has grown to a chorus of over 100 voices.  Now in it's fifth season, Summer Women's Chorus is a thriving group and is now a part of the Plano Civic Chorus organization. 
Summer Women's Chorus  provides an opportunity for women to improve their singing skills, learn beautiful music, socialize with other like-minded women, and be musically and socially rejuvenated.

​Join Summer Women’s Chorus (a proud member of the Plano Civic Chorus family) for an evening of music that celebrates the wonder, beauty, and power of the natural world. Nature Sings explores the deep connection between humanity and the earth through rich harmonies, poetic texts, and diverse choral works.

We will be accepting donations of new or gently used solid black clothing (non-sleeveless tops, bottoms, dresses, collared shirts, pants) and black shoes, stockings and dress socks. Donations will benefit local choir programs whose students are in need of concert black attire.

Admission is FREE and no tickets or reservations are required.
