Summer Women’s Chorus (SWC) is a non-auditioned summer women's choir which began in 2019. Formed by Artistic Director Mandie McMurdie in 2019, the chorus was started as a way for women to keep singing through the summer. The chorus was met with great success and has grown to a chorus of over 100 voices. Soon entering its sixth season, Summer Women's Chorus is a thriving group and is now a part of the Plano Civic Chorus organization.
Summer Women's Chorus provides an opportunity for women to improve their singing skills, learn beautiful music, socialize with other like-minded women, and be musically and socially rejuvenated. Registration for Summer Women's Chorus 2026 will open April 1st and will close on May 8th or until all spots are filled.
